Interstate 10 is a major transcontinental highway in the US. Its West terminus is at Interstate 1 in Santa Monica, California and its East end is at Interstate 95 in Jacksonville, Florida. On its route I-10 traverses through the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida for a total of 8 states. I-10 is known as the Transamerica Highway or “America’s Expressway” because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails. Interstate 10 Serves The Cities of Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tucson, Las Cruces, El Paso, Toyah, San Antonio, Houston, Beaumont, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Pascagoula, Mobile, Pensacola, Tallahassee and Jacksonville.
