Interstate 16 is a major East–West transcontinental Interstate Highway in the southeastern and southwestern portions of the United States. At a length of 165.6 miles (266.5 km), it is the fifteenth-longest Interstate Highway in the country. From East to West, it passes through Georgia. Its West end is at Interstate 75 in Macon, Georgia, while its East end is at a concurrency with Martín Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Savannah, Georgia. Major cities served by the interstate include Macon, Swainsboro, Statesboro and Savannah.
