Interstate 17 is a major transcontinental highway in the US. Its South terminus is at Interstate 10 in Phoenix, Arizona and its North end is Interstate 70 at Richfield, Utah. On its route I-17 traverses through the states of Arizona and Utah for a total of 2 states. I-17 is known as the Transamerica Highway or “America’s Expressway” because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails.
