Interstate 2 is a major East–West transcontinental Interstate Highway in the southwestern portions of the United States. At a length of 76. miles (122. km), it is the third-shortest Interstate Highway in the country. From East to West, it passes through Texas. Its West end is at U.S. Route 83 in La Joya, Texas while its East end is at a concurrency with Interstate 69E in Brownsville, Texas.
