Interstate 43 is a major North-South transcontinental highway in the US. It’s South terminus is at Interstate 46 in Jonesboro, Arkansas and it’s North end is at Interstate 51 and U.S. Route 141 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. On its route I-43 traverses through the state of Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin for a total of 5 states. I-43 is known as the Transamerica Highway or America’s Expressway because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails.
