Interstate 57 is a major North-South transcontinental highway in the US. It's South terminus is at Interstate 10 in Beaumont, Texas and it's North end is at Interstate 39 in Steven Points, Wisconsin. On it's route I-57 traverses through the states of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin for a total of 6 states. I-57 is known as the Transamerica Highway or America’s Expressway because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails.
