Interstate 70 is a major East-West transcontinental highway in the US. At a length of 2,944 miles (4,738 km). Its West terminus is at Interstate 1 in Daly City, California and its East end is at Ventnor Avenue in Ventnor City, New Jersey. On it’s route I-70 traverses through the states of California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey for a total of 13 states. I-70 is known as the Transamerica Highway or “America’s Expressway” because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails. Interstate 70 Serves The Cities of Daly City, San Jose, Modesto, Pioche, Cove Fort, Grand Junction, Limon, Salina, Junction City, Topeka, Kansas City, Effingham, Dayton, Wheeling, New Stanton, Hagerstown, Baltimore, Smyrna and Ventnor City.
