Interstate 8 is a major transcontinental highway in the US. Its West terminus is at Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in San Diego, California and its East end is at Interstate 10 in Casa Grande, Arizona. On its route I-8 traverses through the states of California and Arizona for a total of 2 states. I-8 is known as the Transamerica Highway or “America’s Expressway” because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails.
