Interstate 80 is a major North-South transcontinental highway in the US. It’s South terminus is at Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and it’s North end is at West 1st Street in Lorain, Ohio. On it’s route I-80 traverses through the states of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio for a total of 7 states. I-80 is known as the Transamerica Highway or America’s Expressway because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails. Interstate 80 Serves The Cities of Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Ocala, Lake City, Statesboro, Spartanburg, Hickory, Vansant, Huntington, Gallipolis, Elyria and Lorain.
