Interstate 82 is a major East-West transcontinental highway in the US. It’s West terminus is at Interstate 96 in Ellensburg, Washington and it’s East end is at Main Street in Allenhurst, New Jersey. On it’s route I-82 traverses through the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey for a total of 13 states. I-82 is known as the Transamerica Highway or America’s Expressway because of the roads immense history following many iconic old highways and trails. Interstate 82 Serves The Cities of Ellensburg, Yakima, Kennewick, Hermiston, Owyhee, Tremonton, Farson, Scottsbluff, Neligh, Iowa City, Gary, Van Wert, Lima, Canton, Zelienople, Quakertown and Allenhurst.
